History
of Supervisory Board of the Iranian Schools in the U.A.E: Since the establishment of the first Iranian school in 1957,
the Iranian Cultural Committee was responsible to oversee
the related activities.
Later on, this body continued its commitment as “Schools
Supervisory Board”.
This board provides a supervisory umbrella to ensure the
full implementation of the rules and regulations drafted
by the Ministry of Education of Iran, and also to coordinate
and adjust those with the principles of the educational guidelines
of the U.A.E.
It is necessary to express the sincere gratitude of the Iranian
community for the generous and timely contribution and support
of Shaikh Rashed and Shaikh Zayed to establish the Iranian
schools.
The Schools Supervisory Board consists of the following departments:
Office of the Educational Affairs:
Its mandate is to supervise on all the educational affairs,
allocate teachers to different schools, organize the final
exams and plan for the various training groups.
Office of the Cultural Affairs:
Its responsibility is to oversee the extra curriculum activities,
such as the academic, arts, sports, training and counseling.
Administration and Personnel Office:
Its general objective is to run the administrative procedures,
recruit fresh teachers and trainers, obtain visa and issue
licenses for them.
Office of the Financial Affairs:
Its main responsibility is to oversee the activities regarding
budget allocations and expenditures, pay roll, and attract
proper funding from the Government of Iran.
